Carpenter — Bennington County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a carpenter in Bennington County, Vermont. You should have: • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent • Own basic hand tools Day to day you will plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
