Die-casting operator — Wayne County

Join our team: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Wayne County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
