Domestic gas engineer — Kaufman County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a domestic gas engineer in Kaufman County, Texas. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. The role involves thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints. You should have: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Pay around $17 per hour, based on your experience.
