Machine operator (earthworks) — Aitkin County

Now hiring: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Aitkin County, Minnesota. You will work on a pipeline and trenching crew. On the job you will handle: • Track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter You should have: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Six days a week, one day off.
