Blocklayer — Pitkin County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a blocklayer in Pitkin County, Colorado. You will work on a commercial construction site. On a typical shift you will raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. Ideal candidate: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding 1+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
