Formwork joiner — Geidam

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Geidam, Yobe State. You will be based at an infrastructure construction site. The role involves fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints; assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
