Blocklayer — Banner County

Join our team: we are hiring a blocklayer in Banner County, Nebraska. You will work on a busy housing site. The role involves: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters Requirements: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools 5+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Contact us to fix an interview.
