Bread baker — Scott County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bread baker in Scott County, Kentucky. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. The role involves rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $240 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
