Brickwork mason wanted in Ashland County

Join our team: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Ashland County, Ohio. The job is at a residential building site. Day to day you will buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
