Hoist operator — South Lanarkshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hoist operator in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. You should have: • A good head for heights for tower crane work • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Understanding of hand and radio signals On a typical shift you will hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control; work out the load weight and the lifting radius; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
