Crawler dozer operator — Rowan County

Join our team: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Rowan County, North Carolina. You will work at a busy earthworks site. You should have: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) • Knowledge of daily greasing and pre-start inspections You will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals; refuel the machine and record running hours; push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank.
