MIG welder — Niagara County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG welder in Niagara County, New York. You will control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions. You should have: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
