Lathe programmer-operator — Stephens County

Join our team: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Stephens County, Georgia. The job is at a busy machine shop. Your main tasks: • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Write and edit G-code programs at the control • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Load and index turning tools in the turret • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
