Great opportunity: we are hiring an auto mechanic in Sunderland, England. The job is at a tyre and exhaust shop. What we are looking for: • Confident using diagnostic scan tools • Good eyesight and methodical fault-finding • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines On the job you will handle: • Road-test vehicles to confirm the repair • Replace clutch plates and gearbox components • Bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear • Check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid • Replace alternators, starter motors and batteries • Trace electrical faults in the starting and charging systems Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around £7,200 per project, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
