Backhoe operator • Rowan County, North Carolina

Now hiring: we are hiring a backhoe operator in Rowan County, North Carolina. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. Day-to-day duties: • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $4,600 per month, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
