Tig welder — Williams County

Join our team: we are hiring a tig welder in Williams County, Ohio. You will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp. You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Rotating shifts.
