Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rigger in Wayne County, Nebraska. You will work on an offshore oil and gas platform. Day-to-day duties: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit You should have: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Part-time with flexible hours.
