Plant operator — Gilmer County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a plant operator in Gilmer County, West Virginia. You will work on a housing development site. On the job you will handle: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse • Excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs You should have: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $230 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
