Now hiring: we are hiring an excavator operator in Chenango County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs The role involves clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse.
