Building site helper — Washington County

Now hiring: we are hiring a building site helper in Washington County, Maine. Day to day you will fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns; clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction. Ideal candidate: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain Full-time, day shift.
