Stitching operator — Merrick County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stitching operator in Merrick County, Nebraska. You will work at a busy garment factory. On a typical shift you will keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go. You should have: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts.
