Now hiring: we are hiring a punch press operator in Mercer County, Illinois. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout The role involves watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; record output and downtime on the production sheet.
