Baker — Cattaraugus County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a baker in Cattaraugus County, New York. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. You should have: • Basic cake decorating and piping skills • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens You will weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; roll out short-crust and biscuit dough; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; score the top of loaves before baking. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
