Great opportunity: prep cook (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a prep cook in Tyler County, Texas. You will work at a busy restaurant kitchen. Requirements: • Strong knife skills and speed on the line • Able to lift heavy stock pots and sacks of supplies • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate The role involves: • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Knead dough and bake breads such as roti, naan and paratha • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $3,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
