We are recruiting: abattoir worker (Georgia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring an abattoir worker in Ware County, Georgia. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. On a typical shift you will portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain. You should have: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
