Dogger — Jasper County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dogger in Jasper County, Indiana. You will work at a busy construction site. Ideal candidate: • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness The role involves: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
