Lift installation engineer — Harris County

Now hiring: we are hiring a lift installation engineer in Harris County, Texas. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Ideal candidate: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Day to day you will set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Pay around $160 per day, based on your experience.
