Gtaw welder wanted in Mitchell County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Mitchell County, Iowa. You will work at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day The role involves: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
