Ladle pourer — Winnebago County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Winnebago County, Wisconsin. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. What we are looking for: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Day-to-day duties: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
