Rebar installer • Worcester County, Massachusetts

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar installer in Worcester County, Massachusetts. Day to day you will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
