Brickwork mason — Miner County

Join our team: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Miner County, South Dakota. You will work at a groundworks and structures site. Day-to-day duties: • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
