Industrial sewing operator — Scott County

Join our team: we are hiring an industrial sewing operator in Scott County, Iowa. You will be based in a textile and apparel unit. Your main tasks: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
