Great opportunity: we are hiring a PVC window assembler in Hartlepool, England. You will work at a glazing and fabrication factory. On the job you will handle: • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' experience fabricating uPVC windows and doors • Own basic hand tools (tape, square, screw gun) • An eye for finish — no scratches, clean welds, flush beads Six days a week, one day off.
