Immediate opening: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Warren County, Georgia. The job is at a garment factory. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work On a typical shift you will operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics.
