Die-casting operator wanted in Kinney County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Kinney County, Texas. You will be based at a busy iron foundry. On the job you will handle: • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring What we are looking for: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards 1+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $2,800 per month, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Contact us to fix an interview.
