Lift mechanic — Monroe County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a lift mechanic in Monroe County, Indiana. You will be based in a hospital with heavy lift traffic. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics On the job you will handle: • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
