Great opportunity: wet plasterer (Virginia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a wet plasterer in City of Franklin, Virginia. Ideal candidate: • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • CSCS card or willing to obtain one The role involves: • Apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls • Patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. $3,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
