Lathe programmer-operator — Winona County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Winona County, Minnesota. The job is in a precision engineering workshop. On a typical shift you will set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. Ideal candidate: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Rotating shifts.
