Now hiring: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Clayton County, Iowa. Day to day you will check for underground cables and services before digging; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; work in coordination with the banksman and ground crew on signals; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment; level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines; backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations. What we are looking for: • Minimum 2-3 years' experience operating earthmoving machinery • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance 6+ years on the tools preferred.
