Requirements: • Confident using a gas torch to bond bituminous membrane • Own basic hand tools such as a utility knife and trowel Your main tasks: • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Fit acoustic insulation to partition walls and floating floors • Apply liquid waterproofing to bathrooms and terraces before tiling Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
