Now hiring: lathe programmer-operator (Louisiana)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Ascension Parish, Louisiana. You will work on the CNC turning shop floor. Your main tasks: • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes What we are looking for: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
