Crane rigger — Oconee County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a crane rigger in Oconee County, South Carolina. The job is at a shipyard. Your main tasks: • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits.
