Power float operator — Esit Eket

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Esit Eket, Akwa Ibom State. The job is at an infrastructure site. Day to day you will carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Rotating shifts.
