Join our team: we are hiring a head baker in Saint Clair County, Illinois. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. Ideal candidate: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Familiar with deck, rack and convection ovens Day-to-day duties: • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand 1+ years on the tools preferred.
