Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe operator in New Hanover County, North Carolina. Day to day you will track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly; work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter. Ideal candidate: • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
