Flatlock machine operator — Nemaha County

Now hiring: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Nemaha County, Nebraska. Your main tasks: • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension You should have: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
