Restoration bricklayer • Schuyler County, Illinois

Vacancy available: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Schuyler County, Illinois. You will work at a residential building site. On the job you will handle: • Mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Requirements: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
