Now hiring: we are hiring a cement mason in Escambia County, Florida. You will be based at a ready-mix concrete plant. You should have: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works On a typical shift you will patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer; fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing.
