Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists On a typical shift you will apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish; cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring.
