VMC operator — Sanpete County

Join our team: we are hiring a VMC operator in Sanpete County, Utah. You will work in a toolroom. Requirements: • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron On a typical shift you will carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
